Training Program for Employees in full swing

In June, two training activities were held to ensure continuous learning among the staff. On June 14, Julma M. Narvadez was the resource speaker on “CCMF- Bikol towards Social Development.” The session aims to align employees with the vision and mission of the Foundation and how the Foundation promotes social development.

According to Loren Mae Esteban, Office Assistant, “nakatabang an aktibidad sako lalo sa trabaho ko dahil an Social Development sarong paagi nin pagtabang bako sana sa pansadiri o pamilya kundi sa pag-uswag kan kagabsan. Nakatabang an aktibidad na maluwas ko an dedikasyon asin kagustuhan ko na makatabang sa tawo.” (The activity helped me especially in my work because social development is one way of helping not only myself or my family, but the development of society.  Through the activity, I was able to express my dedication and desire to help other people.)

On June 21, a Basic Excel training workshop, attended by employees of Microfinance, was facilitated by John Kety Perez, Training Officer and Roy Austria, Area 4 Manager.

According to Austria, it is necessary for Microfinance personnel to know how to efficiently use MS Excel to generate and create their reports. “Dapat tatao kami mag-generate asin maggibo kan samong mga accomplishment and other reports sa paagi kang Microsoft excel, para mas madali ming ma-interpret an data para makagibo nin marhay na strategy.”

Although the time allotted for the training was limited, Austria said that he was glad to have extended help to the staff especially the Community Enterprise Development Officers (CEDO) who are expected to create their reports using Excel. “Dawa medyo kulang ang 3 oras sa training, nakakaugma man sa part ko ta aram ko nakakatabang ako sa kapwa ko na assigned sa operation”  Austria added.
