Scholars from CBSUA and ADNU gear up for

Second Semester Apprenticeship

 As second semester of the current academic year begins, scholars from Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-Pili (CBSUA-Pili Campus) and Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU) gathered on January 16 for their reorientation.

The activity, as in the previous scholars’ assemblies, began with a discussion on the Foundation’s vision, mission and core values.

“I realized that the Foundation’s values should be deeply embedded in us not because we are obligated to follow them, but because they are essential to our personal growth,” says Zoeriel Zeth Briones a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, scholar from Ateneo de Naga University.

The discussion on the Apprenticeship Program followed. The program is an essential component of the scholarship, as scholars are expected to report for apprenticeship in the various offices and workplaces of the Foundation.

Scholars enrolled at various agriculture-related courses at CBSUA-Pili Campus apprentice at the organic farm in San Fernando where theories they learn in school are applied, providing support in the operation of the organic farm.

Scholars enrolled at AdNU apprentice at the Madrigal Center where they perform office tasks. Usually, freshmen are assigned at Coko Café to boost their confidence in meeting guests at the dining area. Meanwhile, upperclassmen are assigned at different program and administrative offices.
