9 Senior High Students complete work immersion at CCMF-Bikol
On April 11, a short program was held to give recognition to 9 Senior High Students from Ateneo de Naga University who completed their work immersion at CCMF-Bikol’s Accounting Office and the Microfinance Naga Branch Office. The students were David John B. Brazan, Ramon Xavier R. Gonzales, Chad Rommel O. Patulot, Kryselle Anne S. Manalang, Reignel M. Diñozo, Vinz Aaron R. Navarro, Gian Z. Tedera, Paula Helena D. Bolivar and Khyle A. Ashton.
According to Manalang, she gained more knowledge about her strand Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM). “I was able to explore the field I am in. I’ve found a deeper significance of this activity apart from being a school requirement and it is to learn how to listen and work efficiently to prepare me for my future endeavors.”
“I have grown accustomed to the work environment here and to the people as well. I am glad that I feel safe here. One of the skills that challenged me was time management. My realization is that, we really do grow every day,” shares Bolivar, who is enrolled in ABM strand.
CCMF-Bikol has been part of ADNU’s annual work immersion program since its inception. For the Foundation, this is one way of encouraging the youth to work for social development.
In her message to the students, Flordeliz Cabrera, CCMF-Bikol, Chief of Administration, expressed the hope that the students had a meaningful experience. “It’s not only about the tasks assigned to you, but more about the experience during the immersion. Hopefully, 5 years from now, some of you will work for the Foundation.” Cabrera said.
