Workshop on Microsoft Excel, held

On October19, the Foundation held a workshop titled Unlocking Excel’s Potential: Intermediate Techniques for Accounting Professionals. Twelve employees from the Accounting and Administrative Office were in attendance. The speaker- facilitator was Patrick Joseph Rabacio, IT Specialist at NICC Doctors Hospital.

The participants learned advanced Excel techniques, equipping them with additional knowledge and skills necessary for their roles.

The workshop covered topics such as advanced formulas, and other automation features within Excel. The hands-on session during the workshop ensured that the participants were able to grasp the concepts.

The participants found the activity helpful. Mary Gaile Francheska Elopre, Housing Program Bookkeeper, expressed how the one-day training workshop helped her streamline her accounting work processes and improve her overall productivity, “Napakahalagang bagay sa amin lalong lalo na sa akin sapagkat natutunan ko ang mga advanced Teknik sa Excel. Magbibigay ng kumpyansa na gamitin ang mga tools upang mapadali at mapabuti ang ang aming trabaho.”

Marilous primavera, Cashier, also stated that the learning she gained was helpful and efficient. “Magayon sya ta related talagang maray sa trabaho, tapos mas mapapadali [an trabaho].”

Rabacio hoped that attendees would be able to use the skills they learned in their day-to-day work, ultimately increasing efficiency and accuracy in their tasks, “Sana magamit Ninyo yung mga natutunan ninyo sa daily work ninyo.”

The training was held to upskill the Foundation’s human resources to increase efficiency.
