CCMF-Bikol Microfinance program extends another hand to help micro-entrepreneurs in realizing their dreams. Inaugurated last November 04, 2013, Microfinance Libmanan Branch is now ready to serve the town’s populace.

The first center of the program in Libmanan was established in Mambulo Nuevo, way back November 2012. Gradually, it operated to other barangays, reaching 1, 102 members after a year of operation. With an office already established, it is expected to reach and help more people.

The blessing and inauguration was headed by Fr. Wilmer S. Tria, CEO of CCMF-Bikol Inc. It was followed by a small gathering where the beneficiaries had the chance to share how the program helped them succeed in their ventures. Mrs. Efigimia Avanceña, a member of Microfinance for two years, emphasized that to be successful , one must willingly offer their time and effort. While Mrs. Michelle San Andres advised her fellow beneficiaries that the money they get from the program should be spent wisely and productively.

Microfinance program promotes entrepreneurship and self-reliance by lending additional capital to micro-entrepreneurs who commit to become members of the program and to attend weekly center meetings.

Serving 6, 416 members as of November 15, 2013, the program has six branches: Naga (2 branches), Calabanga, Pili, Tigaon and Libmanan.

The program also has additional services for its members such as the Kaantabay Program which released financial aid to members in case of accident or death of the member or his beneficiary. The program also facilitates  members’ enrolment and payments to SSS.

With the Libmanan office now closer to the communities it serves, the Microfinance program is all geared-up to be the tool for others to succeed. And with an undying commitment, it will continue to deliver its mission to the people.
